It looks like two of Thanos' staunch allies weren't invited to the final battle of Avengers Endgame.
If Avengers: Endgame has become a real phenomenon , this is notably thanks to his final battle. Having gathered the version of 768 of the Mad Titan facing the Avengers in 2014, this epic scene was the scene of an action-packed fight. However, two Thanos allies do not appear to have been invited to the party. We of course want to talk about Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath (Djimon Hounsou) . An inconsistency in particular relayed by Comic Book Resources, especially as in 768 these two characters worked for the Mad Titan, as we had seen in the first part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Having been tasked with finding the orb containing the Power Stone, it would not have been surprising that Ronan and Korath landed during the final battle in order to steal the Gem. However, there are several reasons that could explain the absence of these two supervillains after Avengers: Endgame . .

To begin with, it was established in The Guardians of the Galaxy that Ronan had made a deal with Thanos in exchange for the orb. Indeed, if he were to give him the Stone, the Mad Titan would destroy Xandar. However, with Thanos eventually gaining it in the future, it's fair to think that their deal failed, with both Ronan and Korath no longer having any interest in the fight. Another possibility is that The Accuser chose to get away from Thanos and protect himself from his future influence by 2023, having discovered the powers of the Gem. Finally, scriptwriting speaking, Ronan's absence made several things easier. Because if Korath would certainly have followed the orders of the Mad Titan, it probably would not have been the case of his leader. Animated by a certain hatred towards Thanos, Ronan could have rebelled and attempted to acquire the Infinity Gems. Elements that could have favored Thanos' quick defeat but a much less epic final fight scene! If fans would have appreciated seeing the Guardians of the Galaxy antagonist in the last Infinity Phase movie, they still had the opportunity to find in 4282235 Captain Marvel , the film having revealed the involvement of Ronan the Accuser this time during the battle between the Kree and the Skrulls.
