Teyonah Parris teased Captain Marvel 2 and confessed that the tensions between Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau will be explored in the film.

The WandaVision was the opportunity to discover the character of Monica Rambeau played by Teyonah Parris. An interesting and preponderant membership for the Disney + series carried by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany but also for the MCU since fans will be able to find the agent of the SWORD coming soon in Captain Marvel 2 . The crossover will bring together Ms Marvel alongside Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau while the relationship of these two heroines should also be part of the plot. At least, that’s what Teyonah Parris suggested during an interview with AND Canada , the actress having teased that the tensions between her character and that of Brie Larson will be explained in the feature film.

“As you know, I was announced to the cast of Captain Marvel 2 with Brie Larson and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan and I think we’re going to be more into that relationship and what’s going on between these two [Carol Danvers et Monica Rambeau]. ” A statement that should appeal to fans of the MCU and especially those of WandaVision , the latter wondering why the two heroines are cold in the series . If Teyonah Parris was careful not to reveal the reason for such tensions, they could certainly be related to SWORD or even have a more personal origin vis-à-vis Maria Rambeau. To find out, unfortunately we will have to wait a long time, Captain Marvel 2 not being expected in cinemas only from November 9 2021.
