For a year, fans have been wondering! Green Arrow and the Canaries, Arrow's spin-off, does he still have a chance to see the light of day? Katherine McNamara confides!
Arrow finished its run last January and since then fans have been wondering … possible that a new spin-off of the Arrowverse sees the light of day? Episode 9 of Season 8 of Arrow had served as a pilot for a potential derivative series, entitled Green Arrow and the Canaries. This spin-off centered on Mia, Dinah and Laurel in 2040. This episode had wowed us and offered us new mysteries … William had been kidnapped and no one knew how Dinah had landed in 2040 after “Crisis on Infinite Earths” . While there was plenty of evidence to prove that Green Arrow and the Canaries would indeed see the light of day, we haven't heard from since January. Is the project canceled? Katherine McNamara made some confidences on this subject!
The future of the spin-off of Arrow is most uncertain … After almost a year of silence, the fans fear the worst . Katherine McNamara told TVLine : “ It's been a while now. I have no idea what's going on. looming on the horizon for this, but I know I'm not done with Mia Smoak. As you know with this universe, people are brought back left, right and center. I would love to go back and play in this world.” Mia's interpreter continued: “I was really looking forward to seeing how Mia had handled this duality as character – the fact that she had her post-crisis future and her pre-crisis future, and now she has the tools of both at her disposal. But also having to take up the torch from her father before she feels ready, and before she feels like she deserved it. It would be an interesting trip . ” Did Green Arrow and the Canaries still hope to see the light of day? We hope so but we will have to wait before having confirmation.
