Scarlett Johansson does didn't want Black Widow takes place just after Iron Man 2 , and there is a good reason for it! According to the actress, if her solo adventures had landed in theaters following her introduction in the MCU , in 2010, it would have served his character more than anything else. “ If we had made a solo movie on Black Widow at the time, it would have been such a different movie than here. Natasha's sacrifice in Avengers Endgame gave me a totally different perspective of who she is. Before, I don't think I could have shown people who Natasha really is, what makes her tick, and revealed her emotional core to them
