Two actresses seen in Captain Marvel and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 will take on new roles in Phase 4 of the MCU. Why didn't the studios choose other performers?
Michelle Yeoh is part of the cast of Shang-Chi , rumor has it that she plays one of the protectors from the village. If the recruitment of this actress seen in Star Trek: Discovery pleases the fans, some spectators have the eye and point out that she was already playing a role in of the MCU . Indeed, Michelle Yeoh already lent her features to Oleta Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 . If the fans could have understood that Marvel chooses to “recycle” one of their actresses for a completely different role within their future films, Michelle Yeoh is not the only one concerned! Gemma Chan, the interpreter of Minn-Erva in Captain Marvel will also be back, this time in the role of Cirsé within Eternals. So why did the studios decide to keep these actresses for new roles?
