Could the prelogy have already indicated the outcome of the next Star Wars trilogy?
Fans of the Star Wars saga will be able to discover the new trilogy in a few years. The opportunity for spectators to dive back into the intergalactic universe created by George Lucas in 1977, this time 200 years before the events of The Phantom Menace . Focusing on the Haute-République and new characters, the Luminous Project piloted by Lucasfilm and Disney represents a daring adventure for the studios, after the mixed reception received by the last trilogy. A change of tone and many originalities seem to be on the program for the next episodes, evidenced by the uniqueness of the Jedi teased in heart of the plot .
Whether it is cataclysmic events such as the Great Disaster or

In this context, the new trilogy must ensure that its story coincides with the events of The Phantom Menace as well as its consequences, this could then indicate a happy outcome for the Haute-République. In the prelogy and at the time of the return of the Sith, the Jedi Council and the Republic indeed seemed astonished by this resurgence. which might suggest that the work of Darth Plagueis and his apprentice Palpatine will not end up in the prelogy despite their influence on many events around the Unknown Regions and the Outer Rim. Indeed, from what we know there is little chance that a Sith regime was proclaimed between the High Republic and the government in place during the events of The Phantom Menace .

If this could indicate that Darth Plagueis will ultimately be challenged and the Nihils destroyed, it is still not certain that the next trilogy Star Wars depicts the famous Sith Lord. The studios might indeed want to focus the films on an unprecedented and as yet unknown threat, subsequently fought by many Jedi, most certainly at the risk of their lives. On the other hand, if the new episodes were to make Darth Plagueis the main antagonist, there is no doubt that the outcome of these episodes would in reality be only a lull before the events of the prelogy, given Palpatine's growing influence thereafter. This outcome would be interesting to observe since it would offer an ultimately mixed victory for the Jedi Knights, where the other trilogies have accustomed us to a happy ending. An element that could ultimately bring more weight to the new trilogy and seduce the fans in order to make them forget the painful memory of the last episodes.
