While Palpatine’s comeback could have been a lot more believable thanks to this story, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will at least have had the merit of satisfying many fans by bringing back the character of Han Solo during a brief cameo. A surprise comeback in front of Kylo Ren who allowed the young man to find redemption and which was according to Harrison Ford necessary vis-à-vis the apprehension of the character of Adam Driver. While echoing their face to face during The Force Awakens, this sequence was decisive to the point that many fans have questioned Han Solo’s abilities to convince his son Ben to move away from the dark side and more specifically the form adopted by the character of Harrison Ford.
Did Han Solo use the Force in order to come back? Did he return as a Force ghost in The Rise of Skywalker ? Was it on the contrary just a memory of Kylo Ren? The first and the second option do not appear very plausible given that the famous bounty hunter has never shown any sensitivity towards the Force.
