The Mandalorian may be an anthology series, some things just don’t hold water!
The year 768 will not have reserved only bad surprises for us, on the contrary! Season 2 of The Mandalorian which recently succeeded Game of Thrones in a surprising record is the proof . The sequel to the series which tells the thrilling adventures of Din Djarin and his sidekick Baby Yoda was a resounding success, the latter exploding all the records of the platform Disney + . So it’s no wonder that The Mandalorian became in 2020, the most illegally downloaded series in the world . Yet despite its impressive track record, the TV show is not perfect. The proof with these toris inconsistencies noted throughout the show.
The profession of hunter premiums does not stick
In addition to being a full-time babysitter, Din Djarin is a Mandalorian very attached to his values but who nevertheless officiates as a hunter bonuses. And that’s the rub ! Because if the sense of duty, the protection of civilians and honor seem to be intrinsically linked to the Path of the Mandalore, it does not at all fit with the daily life of a hunter bonuses . Since Din Djarin literally revere the nobility and greatness of his “adopted family”, being part of the guild and sometimes working for scoundrels without asking questions therefore seems totally contradictory.
Din Djarin and his ignorance of the Jedi
Throughout the series, Mandalorian Din Djarin claims to know nothing about the world of the Jedi. Yet the canons of the franchise say otherwise! Indeed, this blatant lack of knowledge makes no sense given that the Dark Saber originally belonged to Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian to have been inducted into the Jedi Order. So this was a very important lightsaber for the people of Mandalore. Not to mention the war that broke out between the Jedi and the Mandalorians in the days of the Old Republic. A clash that caused the destruction of the planetary surface of Mandalore. It is therefore impossible for Din Djarin attached to the traditions of his people never to have heard of it.
Din Djarin trusts excessively
Unlike Cara Dune, 4312776 embodied by actress Gina Carano who recently created controversy among fans of The Mandalorian , Din Djarin gives his confidence very easily. Of a wary nature, this lone wolf however very rarely refuses to lend a hand or to follow certain protagonists in improbable adventures which temporarily distract him from his primary mission. Characters who are often on the verge of betraying him or have already done so in the past. This is the case of the leader of the guild Greef Karga who did not hesitate to turn on him in the first season before apologizing to him to finally rally him to his cause to drive the Imperials out of Nevarro.
