While he was able to get his hands on an alien artifact, Peter tries alongside Ned to study it. To do this, the two high school students take advantage of a course in a workshop to work on the famous artefact using a hammer and other tools to dislodge the stone from its envelope. This procedure then causes a certain din in the workshop and the Chitauri weapon radiates an almost fluorescent purple. However, no one seems to notice the strange light just like no student like their teacher seems to be paying attention to the experience that is taking place next to them. And to say that Peter wanted to be discreet, that's a failure! We know Peter Parker is a little genius of science. Nevertheless, we must admit that his mentor, Tony Stark is a much more recognized scientist than the teenage native of Queens. A few years later, we discover that the Vulture and his former colleagues have actually recovered several Chitauri artifacts to create an exoskeleton as well as weapons that they can then resell on the black market.
