Could the MCU soon welcome the Asgardians of the Galaxy team?

In Thor 4, Love & Thunder , the god of thunder will obviously not be alone, since the Guardians of the Galaxy should join him . Nothing too surprising, since Thor found them at the end of Avengers Endgame , and even called their group the Asgardians of the Galaxy. Except that this nickname is far from being a joke. In fact, the name refers to a team of heroes introduced in 2018 in the comics Marvel . All of its members have in common that they are related to Asgard. Among them we find Valkyrie, the current queen of Asgard, Skurge, who died in Thor: Ragnarok , the Destroyer, the weapon used by Loki in Thor , as well as three characters still absent of the MCU called Throg, Thunderstrike and Angela.

Throg is a man changed into frog having obtained his powers by lifting a fragment of the Mjölnir, Angela is the first child t of Odin and knows the Guardians of the Galaxy, and Thunderstrike has powers similar to Thor's. Even if it's a character that we adored discovering in Thor: Ragnarok , it seems obvious that Skurge will not be resurrected in the future. As for the still-unseen characters, their respective origins seem a bit too complex for them to be properly integrated into the MCU. This does not, however, make the formal introduction of the Asgardians into the Galaxy impossible. Nothing prevents Marvel Studios from forming a completely different team, and thus bringing together different heroes. This is perhaps what they have already planned to do. Thor 4, Love & Thunder has indeed been recently described as a film that looks like Avengers 5 .
